Hi, I seem to have come across a small bug (undocumented feature in Imagine
speak ;)) in the way that Preview deals with memory. Twice this week, preview
has quite happily rendered up a 300 frame anim, but left the system without
enough ram to open the play control window - or any other menu/window/screen
for that matter. Flipping over to the workbench reveals a ram count of around
100k. The only way out of this is a reboot as it`s impossible to get at the
preview/free preview menu item. All of the gadgets which do not require menu
or windows to be opened work fine i.e changing views, moving/scaling objects
etc.
A tad annoying if you`re not expecting it.
Gwynne.
